How long can I keep my meal?

You can take the meals Store in the refrigerator for at least 4 days en can be stored in the freezer for up to 1 month. With the exception of the side salads that you get with it.

You can check the shelf life on the product page. You can also check the shelf life via the QR code on the packaging. 

How do I heat up my meal?

You warm up the meals in the microwave or in the oven. On the packaging you will find a QR code that you can scan to see exactly how long you will be heating it.

Do you have a disposable container? First remove the foil from the tray. The black disposable meal tray can be heated to 200 degrees (microwave and oven). The green reusable meal container can be heated to 100 degrees (only in the microwave). Do you want to heat it in the oven? Transfer to a plate.

On average you heat it:

In the microwave: 3:00 - 3:30 minutes at 700-750W.
In the oven: 12 - 15 minutes at 175 degrees.

Have you frozen the meal and do you want to heat it without defrosting? Then calculate at least double the above heating time and then check whether the meal is already warm enough. 

What is the weight of my meal?

Weigh our meals ± 450 grams without add-ons. With add-ons you can think of extra carbohydrates, protein or vegetables that you can add to the meal. You choose this on the product page of a meal. Are you adding 3 add-ons? Then the meal weighs ± 600 grams.

What ingredients does my meal contain?

Your meal consists of 100% vegetable ingredients and is completely vegan. The specific ingredients per meal can be found on the product page and via the QR code on the packaging. The allergens are always stated in bold.

The meals always include 250 grams of vegetables and a balance of grains, protein and vegetables. In addition, we apply a lot of variation and we cook with as much as possible wholefoods and no parcels.

How do you put together my meal?

We make your meal with lots of love, with ingredients that scientifically proven are good for you. Our founder, Maaike, has a degree Plant Based Nutrition followed through Cornell University. Here she gained a lot of her knowledge.

We also like to use it as a source Nutritionfacts.org and we have developed our own system from science: Peasy Points. A system with which we indicate which foods are good to eat in a day in order to feel and keep feeling good.

Does my meal contain allergens?

On the product page of the meal you will find the allergens that this meal contains in the ingredients list. With a subscription you will also find a number of allergens that we can take into account in our preparation.

For a large part of our meals we give the option to order the meal with ingredients free from gluten. Of course we separate these meals from meals with gluten.

The meals are never completely allergen-free as we cook in an open kitchen. 

What do you pack my meal in?

With us you can choose whether you want to receive your meal in a disposable CPET container or in a reusable plastic container. The disposable container can be used in the oven and the microwave and the reusable container can only be used in the microwave.

For € 4,00 you will receive your meal in a reusable container and you will receive a € 4,50 discount on your next order. This way you eat a tasty meal with lots of vegetables that has an even lower impact on the environment.

How do I get the deposit back for my reusable container?

You deliver the tray back to us the next time we are at your door and you receive a discount code of € 4,50 to spend on your next order.

We clean the trays and can use them again!

How can I return my reusable container if I don't order for a while?

Have you not ordered a meal (s) for a while? Mail us at info@eatpeasy.nl if you want us to pick up your container (s). You will then receive 4 euros in cash back from us instead of a discount code.

Where do I dispose of my packaging?

The following does not apply to reusable containers. You return this to us.

In Rotterdam, the waste may be separated from the residual waste, it is centrally separated. In Delft and Berkel en Rodenrijs, the meal container can be disposed of with the plastic waste. The foil and sauce container can be disposed of with the residual waste.

Do I clean the reusable container before returning it?

Day is certainly allowed. The tray is suitable for the dishwasher. We will clean it thoroughly ourselves when we get them back, so it is not necessary. We like it if you rinse the container a bit.

Make sure that you first remove the stickers if you want to put it in the dishwasher.

What time will you deliver my meal?

We deliver to your home between 15:30 en 18:30. If the delivery person starts his route between 15:15 and 15:30, you will receive an email with the expected arrival time. Are you only home until a certain time? Please indicate this in the order note, then we will take it into account.

Fortunately, we are almost always on time with your order. If we are unable to arrive on time, we will call you. And you will receive a free snack from us next time.

What do you do when I'm not at home?

We will always call you first on the number you have provided. If it is not answered, we will take your order back to our kitchen at Schouwburgplein 52 in Rotterdam. You can pick up your meal there that same day until 20:00 or the next day between 11:00 and 20:00.

Do you deliver to my neighbors?

If you would like to deliver it to your neighbors, of course! Please indicate this as a note for shipping with your order. You can also mention here if you think it is okay for us to put your meal in front of the door when you are not there.

What do I pay for delivery?

Nothing. We deliver your meals for free to your home, work or a collection point.

For how long do I take out a subscription?

All our subscriptions are weekly subscriptions. You are not committed to anything, but you can cancel or adjust the subscription weekly.

How can I cancel my subscription?

You can easily cancel the subscription by going to your account to go on the website. From this dashboard you click on “subscriptions” to manage your subscription. Open the subscription and click "cancel" to cancel it.

When will the money be debited from my account?

For the first week of your subscription, you pay directly via iDeal on the website. The subscription will then be debited from your account weekly, if you do not cancel it. You can find out on which day it will be renewed on your account page on the website under “subscriptions”. 

Where can I find all information about my subscription?

The town of your account page on the website. Via the dashboard you go to “subscriptions”. 

Can I indicate each week which meals I want from the menu?

Not the specific meal. We automatically select the meals for your subscription and in return you will receive a discount. This allows us to buy smarter and you will be surprised with varied tasty vegetable meals.

You can indicate what you are allergic to, what add-on you want. And if you really don't like something, email us at info@eatpeasy.nl. Then we take that into account.

Would you rather choose yourself? Then choose to order separate meals from the menu. 

What meals do I get with a subscription?

With a subscription we choose which meals you receive for you. This way you can be surprised every time with tasty vegetable meals.

Have you opted for a subscription with an add-on (for example “extra protein”)? Then we ensure that your meal contains more protein than the basic meal.

Before what time do I have to order to receive my meal?

Order your before 22:00 then we deliver your meals the next day.

In this way we do not waste food and you have a nice fresh meal. We cook fresh every morning based on the number of orders.

How can I pay for my meal?

You pay for your meals via our website via iDeal or PayPal. Have you opted for a subscription? Then the first payment goes via iDeal and weekly debits are made via SEPA Direct Debit. You can cancel this prematurely (see “subscriptions”).

Can I see what I have previously ordered somewhere?

Yes, you can! You can find your order history in your account with orders". You can also easily download an invoice of your previous orders here.
